Yum Breakfast
Fresh fruits, oats as usual & green tea :) Is there anything better? I don’t think so.
Patience & small steps
Woohoo I was finally able to update my progress AND measurements page! How great is that ;) I thought I would never ever reach that first step and lose weight but here I am updating it all.
It just means that I need to learn to be patient and every little single step does count. So if you are waiting for those first kilograms to come off be patient. Maybe your body just needs time to adjust! Never lose believe that you can do it :)
Homemade Almond Butter
This took forever but I made it ;) Recipe later although its soooo simple! Just process almonds and keep going. Thats all. I added some Coconut oil and salt till the end cause I thought my food processor was going to die. He didn’t and here we are with almond butter.
Before ?!
I guess I should take some “Before” pictures tomorrow morning & also take my measurements again. I am really hoping to see some change after the 60 day Insanity challenge. Also I think the Metformin starts working as well.
It is so important to me to visualize everything :)
New goals :)
Okay I am going a bit crazy again but thats just me ;)
- I decided to do the 60 days of Insanity! Yeah I am determined to hold out all the way and fight thru the pain. It will be a great cardio WO for my next training after that.
- I just signed up for the 33. Vattenfall Berliner Half Marathon on 7th April, 2013. Yeah I did! Which is what I will be training for after I am done with Insanity. That way I can get enough long runs in & train on speed as well.
I guess if I wouldn’t set these goals for me I would not know what to do. It is so important to have a purpose which isn’t just losing weight or so. I love training for an event because it makes it so much more real than you can ever try to imagine.
This will be my 2nd half marathon & I have a great idea what I need to improve on while training and what not :).
Who else is doing half marathons around here? What are your training methods?
Healthy Dinner
Tomatoes, grilled Zucchini & grilled Chicken (I boiled the chicken last night cause it makes it easier to grill it. Also it tastes amazing!) with No Sugar Added Ketchup & leftover Ricotta filling from yesterday.
Filled Eggplant Recipe Review
I love this recipe! You can use it for other grilled veggies as well like zucchini. I would try to use less salt for the rub in next time. It comes out strong even after washing it off. It is one of the reasons I didn’t add salt to the filling.
This is a great side dish! I enjoyed it very much & will have it again.
Filled Eggplant on a bed of Notatoes
I really wanted to try this Eggplant recipe and here it is. I will write a review on how to make them later ;) but they are delicious! I am having them with my Notatoes ;) Yum!!!
#5 What I want
to reach the point where my focus is muscle definition & it will top weight ins ;)!!!
Study break
I so needed to get some fresh air after studying all morning. So I decided to make an Iced AlmondMilk Coffee to go & relax at the park by the water. It was really windy but such a nice break.
It is important even when studying to allow your brain to rest and recharge ;)
Breakfast for Coco Lovers
For the coco oats I mixed together: 60g oats, 2 tbsp flax seeds, 1 banana, 1 tsp cacao powder, 1 tsp honey, enough almond milk to cover it, dash of cinnamon & salt. Then brought it to a boil and stirred all while I let it cook for a few minutes. YUM!!!
Sides are fresh blueberries & green tea.
I believe you can learn to be determined & go for what you want! Everyone has a fighter in them. Find him & don’t let go of it!
Healthy Lunch
Zucchini, No Fat Potatoe Sticks, Riccota- Low Fat Cream Cheese- No Added Sugar Ketchup- Dip. Yum!
